Ballet Academy Ventura (BAV) is the official school of the Ventura County Ballet
Ballet Academy Ventura uses the Vaganova teaching method, which has established itself as an outstanding curriculum for young students. BAV students are consistently accepted into professional ballet summer intensive programs such as American Ballet Theater, Boston Ballet School, Pacific Northwest Ballet School, San Francisco Ballet School, School of the American Ballet, and have earned scholarships to many outstanding university programs including Butler University, Columbia University, University of California Irvine, Loyola Marymount College, and University of California Los Angeles.
